blowlaMac Posted June 27, 2008 Share Posted June 27, 2008 I have a nearly 4 year old IMac G5 17" (purchased in Sept 2004) and it recently died on me. After troubleshooting, I believe that it is a faulty power supply. Looking at buying a new power supply, but am not sure which one to get. My power supply (from the computer) has Apple PIN 614-0293, but the ones I see online (for sale) have Apple PIN 661-3351. Does anyone know what power supply I should buy? Also, is there a guide that will show you how to test and find out if your power supply is actually bad.
