Elf
Got a Thinkpad T40p. The game crashes... I updated all the patches and "no go"... Question: How do I change the graphics rendering to use software instead of HW OpenGL? Or force windowed mode? Thanks in advance!

If so, you are stuck :/

cyclonefr
yup, an ATI Radeon Mobility.... Yep it seems the game has to change resolutions (or whatever fonction that needs ATINDRV.kext) so it's a no go for us ATI users at the moment. Lots of people say the mouse tearing bug is no big dill, mousepose can fix it, etc, but actually IT'S a big dill since Diablo II won't work because of this same bug Now we really gotta take that mouse tearing bug into consideration... Dynamite
hold the Alt (option) key while starting up D2. There you can change to Sofware rendering mode (more chances to work). To run in a window, press command-M.

cyclonefr
Ok, Diablo II now works thanks to the ATINDRV.kext file with an ATI Radeon X1600 !!!

cyclonefr
Yes, you unfortunately need an ATI supported card like the X1600 or X1800 so you can have ATINDRV.kext loaded and working
