spanakorizo Posted June 24, 2008 Share Posted June 24, 2008 as i saw at this forum: (big thread, they did it at last..) http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=434092 there was success for the real mac users to use the 8800GT PC versions after they flashed the bios with apple efi i was just wondering if somebody did this in a hack if yes, you won't need any gfx strings, any natit etc? cause my mac for example reacts like real, so if the 8800GT (PC version) flashed to MAC version wouldn't it make it faster? as less modifications i think allways is better i am just trying to find any clue what could make this card faster a lot said that 10.5.3 drivers will improve the speed but nothing changed i also have choppy video playback with quicktime and "heavy" .mov files and i blv it's because of the 8800GT HD quicktime movie for example, can somebody test?
