bwana_v
Hi all, I'm not sure this is the right place to post this, if it isn't I apologize. I'm looking for an Adaptec 7901 driver for Leopard. I'm installing it on a self assembled system built around a SuperMicro PDSG4 motherboard. It works rather good, but the embedded Adaptec 7901 chip is't detected. Looking around I found supported only older and slower controllers, but my point is that as Leopard is a BSD, and BSD is a strict Linux relative, it wouldn't take too much for a developer to adapt here a linux driver... Any news ? TIA
vladthebad
I don't think there is any working adaptec in leo. Last I heard of working adaptec was 29160 in 10.4.4 I run a LSI PCI-X133 dualchannel U320 card in tiger and leo though.... works with AppleLSIFusionMPT extension. Haven't been able to boot off it yet..... but its still a hope.
