Gianluca I've my first working 10.5.5 AppleHDA.kext, it's not perfect. OcciJano_662_AppleHDA.kext.zip It shows in System Profiler, allows sleep. Restart doesn't Line Out & Line In works Mic doesn't. Seems simple to tackle but I havent achieved. Yes I can see it the profile, everything, but I just dont have sound. Attached is the codec dump from linux. 10.5.6 retail / dsdt / a few extras. Giorgio_multi Posted March 31, 2009 Share Posted March 31, 2009 Hello,I also have the Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L with ALC662 audio Solution 1: HDA Patcher + ALC662.txt Result: Input and Output sounds devices, but Volume slider on toolbar stuck at 100% Solution 2: Azalia Audio patcher Result: Output ONLY, works completely. No input device detected. Has anyone found fixes to either of the problems associated with these partial solutions? I have the same result of blackfrancis75 with Asus P5Kpl-VM.
