Hello OcciJano, any new?

Try this OcciJano_Mod_ALC662_Based_in__MadTux_ALC660_modded_by_Wiwi_.zip

Based on MadTux_ALC660_modded_by_Wiwi

Edit:

This is a Tiger kext.

I'll be trying to edit/mod a Leopard kext.

I'll share it if works.

I've my first working 10.5.5 AppleHDA.kext, it's not perfect. OcciJano_662_AppleHDA.kext.zip

It shows in System Profiler, allows sleep.

Restart doesn't

Line Out & Line In works

Mic doesn't.

I'm trying to make it better. Can you test it and give me feedback?

Hi everybody,

Recently I have installed the XxX_10.5.6_Mac_v1 in my desktop. I have marked the ALC 662 in customise option on DVD itself. After install I can see that there is a audio driver but no sound at all.

I tried using headphones, and every other possible thing but no luck.

Can anyone please provide me kexts for my audio ?

Have this asus p5kpl-vm and there is no way of having sound. I only have 3 outputs. Mic, line out, speakers. Seems simple to tackle but I havent achieved. Yes I can see it the profile, everything, but I just dont have sound.

Attached is the codec dump from linux.

10.5.6 retail / dsdt / a few extras.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello,

I also have the Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L with ALC662 audio

Solution 1: HDA Patcher + ALC662.txt

Result: Input and Output sounds devices, but Volume slider on toolbar stuck at 100%

Solution 2: Azalia Audio patcher

Result: Output ONLY, works completely. No input device detected.

Has anyone found fixes to either of the problems associated with these partial solutions?

I have the same result of blackfrancis75 with Asus P5Kpl-VM.
