mitch_de Posted June 21, 2008 Share Posted June 21, 2008 Hi, i read about using an PCI SATA (Raid) Controller (Chipset 3132 only is OS X ready/ drivers available) in OSX86. http://www.siliconimage.com/products/product.aspx?id=32 Uses new NAD Mode which is not available in my MSI ICH8 Chipset, because no AHCI Mode in Bios. I want not use RAID function, only normal, native SATA Mode. It works ( i read that here somewhere) but i want to know if it is also usable to boot from ? And if the bootable DVDs can use that HDs ?
