berkekibris
Hey everyone. I recently built a hackintosh, and my iPod classic wont connect. All other USB devices will work (HD, keyboard, mouse, etc.) in all ports, but not the classic. WHen plugged into the keyboard, it informs me that it does not have enough power to use it, so it registers on some level. Disk Utility, iTunes, and iSync can not find it. My PowerBook can find it, and when the Hackintosh and PowerBook are networked, and file sharing is used, the Hackintosh can see the iPod on the desktop, and edit the files, but not put music on it. ANy advice would be great. Berkekibris

Dewdman42
I have been told that this could be related to USB2. Perhaps Arch3r is using a USB1 port or something and no problem. My various USB1 devices work fine, but the ipod is the only USB2 device i have tried to use and since the motherboard sees it as USB2, perhaps that is the issue. I still have to research further.
