Hi. I updated to 10.5.3 and updated it with the latest graphics driver as well using this:

My card is a 7900GS 256MB that is hard modded into a quadro 5500 (it won't become a 100% quadro coz' it only has 256MB and some pipelines may be disabled). In the System Profiler the graphics card is identified as an Nvidia card. Is the NVInstaller the same as the NVInject? Does the NVInstaller have quadro drivers? If I made a mistake, how do I install the NVInstaller and where do I find the latest NVInject installer? Thanks in advance. Other suggestions are welcome. Gbu.

NVInject is the kext file that tells OS X which video card you have and how it should be treated. NVInstaller is a package made by Scott Dangel that automatically installs the proper NVInject kext file for your card and should set proper permissions. To uninstall, go to /System/Library/Extensions and delete "NVInject.kext"
