ameris_cyning
I have installed OSx86 using the Kalyway DVD, and I am about to install the 10.5.3 update. Unfortunately, I am not as well versed as I wish I was in this field, so, to ask a "newbish" question, how do I figure out how to see which kernel my Hackintosh is using? Thanks. fugazzz
in the terminal, 'uname -a' should give you that information.

fugazzz
For what it's worth, when I went through the update using Mysticus C's package, I didn't pick anything and it just worked. I also run the Kalyway install so I would guess the same would work for you unless you have some need to run any of those others. I've tried each of the other included kernels manually and none of them would work for me, just got stuck in a boot loop. Hope that helps. Much appreciated. I have a ToH kernel.
