macguyver
I have eVGA GeForce 8600 GT 1Gb DDR2 PCI-e card, i'm running Kalyway 10.5.2 on my Core2Duo E6420 Lenovo desktop PC. When i install NVinject or Natit or use EFI strings, my monitor says Frequency out of range... and then no signal... and display becomes blank. When i connect it to my friend's monitor which is newer than mine, it works, i see the display. But i don't understand, my LCD monitor displays 1024x768x32@75 Mhz in Windows XP and Vista without any problems. But in Leopard the monitor displays Frequency out of Range. When i remove NVinject, it works fine but i don't get QE. I've tried hard-coding the resolution and refresh rate in com.apple.Boot file and also tried putting "Graphics Mode"="800x600x32@60" at boot prompt but nothing solves this problem. I've tried different Kernels and different AppleSMBIOS kexts but no luck. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this frequency out of range problem ?
