Dragone
First, sorry for my poor english. i'm writing here because i serach a solution to my problm from 3 days...i have read posts, guides and many topics but i didn't found the right solution. i would be very happy if someone could help me. This is my pc: CPU: AMD dual core 4000 Mother board: Asrock AliveNF5 (chipset Nforce 5200) graphic card: Sapphire Radeon 9600 XT DDR4 Hard disk: Maxtor (sata) i tryed to install different version of Leopard, searching the most compatible with my hardware. The better (for me...it seems) is Leo4All version 2. this is the steps i followed 1)I've created a partition with Acronis. 2)created a DVD with Leo4All iso 3)i have boot che pc from DVD. i formatted the partition (of 10GB) in Hfs+. 4) i have selected custom installation and i have installed from the list the files that i think i need. I installed the files for = SS3, AMD fix, ATI 2600, Nforce 3/4/5. 5) the installation finished without problems. i restart my pc. 6) the dawin boot seems work and i can choose if start the Windows partition or the other. i have chosen the other and start a long scrypt. I can read "AppleNForceATA::scanfordrivers found 1 unit" but, after other scrypts i can read "AppleNForceATA::scanfordrivers found 0" and after "still waiting for boot device"....and it stops. I'm not a programmer, and i don't know a lot of pc, but, after reading a lot of posts, i think that the problem could be 1) problem with my HD that is SATA or 2) problem whith NForce chipset of my Mother board. if the problem is the second i foun in this forum the AppleNForceATA.kext and downloaded it but i don't have idea how to use it. i have tryed to read the guide for kext file but i did'nt undestand how to use it (all the guides were in english). Someone could propose a solution for my problem? Thanks to all.
