The PCMCIA driver on our toshibas works with the latest PCMCIA beta drivers coded by chun nan. You can obtain this driver in this thread: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=81048

man, I've got 10.5.2 so it's Leo , no Tiger.

About Chun-Nan's PCMCIA driver. I tried this http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...620#entry780826 post #637 #635 . But my card reader doesn't work :D

Well this got me sleep on my Laptop, see the section "Power Management, SpeedStep and (S3) Sleep" in DevilHood's guide. Might work for you too...

Thanx for the link but...

Does Vanilla Darwin kernel is the same Kernel_vanilla_922 from KalyWay 10.5.2 ALL kernels.pkg ? And does it matter what version of vanilla kernel should I use ?

And what boot loader has u and where? I mean the Darwin or EFI and into MBR or GUID ?

1) Backup "/System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext" incase anything goes wrong

2) Download and extract the full install package:

http://rapidshare.com/files/93582903/2fingerscroll.zip.html

3) Run ALPS Glidepad Driver.pkg (thanks to deamobile for creating this driver package:

http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...=47272&st=0) to install the driver and FFScroll.

4) After completing the install, it will ask you to reboot, do so. After rebooting you will get an error saying FFScroll is not working or somesort, Click "Fix" and reboot again.

5) Copy com.apple.driver.ApplePS2Trackpad.plist (found in the install package) to: /Users/[Your Username]/Library/Preferences AND /Library/Preferences. For some reason, if you do not place the plist file in both locations, FFScroll will not load.

6) Open terminal and type:

sudo killall -9 FFScrollDaemon

(Note: The first time I ran this, it didnt find anything of that sort running)

sudo /usr/local/bin/FFScrollDaemon

These commands will kill the FFScroll Process and restart it. You must do this everytime you edit that downloaded plist file.

7) Go into System Preferences, then FFScroll, you should see that 2-finger scrolling is enabled. You cant really edit the "Sample Accepts" as the highest threshold is 61 for some reason. All the other options you can edit.

8) Go back to System Preferences, go to keyboard & mouse, click the "Trackpad" tab. I believe you can uncheck "Use two fingers to scroll," as it still works without it. Set the tracking speed to midway.

9) Copy the FFScrollDaemon directory from the install package to /Library/StartupItems. Enter your password to authenticate. This will allow FFScrollDaemon to startup automatically when you start OSX. The next time you reboot, it will ask you to fix it, click Fix and then reboot your computer.

I have Satellite A100-036 and I cannot to save my life get my ethernet to be recognized. VID = 8086 and Dev = 1092. Is that an iDeneb 1.4 (Mac OSX 10.5.6) issue or is it just some random driver incompatability?

im not too sure why u have this problem.. id say you hant installed the right driver on installation. have you read slithers threads? i found them very helpfull (see. my previous post). id try reistall with another distro..

- has anyone tried the iPC distro yet?

- also has anyone got there firewire to work?

Ended up having to install DSDT patch in order for the system to recognize it.

For bluetooth to work on my system I needed to run windows then do a warm reboot into OSX to have it enabled.

I eventually got tired of doing that everytime I wanted to use my wireless mighty mouse that I made an external usb bluetooth dongle internal.

Now it works all the time.

I have an x205 so it may be a bit different for you.

Ive tried to install my toshiba a100 with both ipc 10.5.6 and XxX 10.5.6. i managed to install ok but after it rebooted it would either be stuck in a reboot loop (IPC) or start with a screen telling me i dont have a keyboard installed (XxX) which is not much help when you have a laptop.

anyone had any luck with these distro's? or installing 10.5.6 with another distro..

;)

Toshiba Satellite Pro A100 (PSAAPE-00U00KEN)

I followed this guide using iDeneb 1.4 (10.5.6)... Whilst my install is not 100%, I've got the desktop running!

It took 5 me attempts which seems to be about the average from what I've read!

I used the following customizations;

Chipset: ICHx Fixed

Kernel: Kernel 9.2.0 Sleep

Network (Ethernet): Intel100ProVE

Fix (AppleSMBIOS): Apple SMBIOS MacBook

Fix: Firewire Remove

Fix: PowerOff_fix

Video (Intel): GMA950

Applications: KextHelper

Applications: OSx86 Tools

As of now, I have no sound, and more severely, whenever I try to mount a .dmg, I get Kernel Panic. Not sure how to fix this, or what the solution might be, but seeing the desktop is enough for me tonight!
