scoobydu
Hi all. Thought I'd share with you a little gem:) Using the standard Solaris 10 64bit template in Vmware Fusion (I assume it'll work for Windows as well, but not tested) and the JaS 10.5.2 iso, Leopard installs straight, no tweaks required Install is very FAST and uses the SCSI controller for the disk, rather than the slow virtual IDE drive. The VM is extremely useable, everything works except sound out of the box (which I would expect is sorted in other threads on the forum). USB all fine. Leopard is nearer Solaris than FreeBSD anyway Cheers scooby.

Donk
There have been some significant changes with VMware Fusion 2, Server 2 and Workstation 6.5 betas recently. For example I am just trying JaS on Workstation 6.5 beta 2 and it is installing fine. I did change the guestos parameter to darwin-64, as it seems to make the networking more reliable for me. Also allows the use of USB mouse and keyboard emulations, rather than PS2. Not a big deal but bringing it closer to a real Mac.
