stroke
How in the world did that take one hour? What renderer are you using, software or hardware? If you're using hardware then your graphics card must be bad.

stroke
Yes, I know about rendering, but I just couldn't see how that could've taken an hour. There's no bump mapping, normals, it's pretty matte (not that it looks bad, something like this should have a matte finish).
muitommy
it's beautiful ..thanks! but i wonder why this image takes an hour to render???
Guest ѕиоѡ
For all the hard work you (and your hack) put in I'm going to download and use this one, thx a lot for the share bud. Nice wally that fits the Leopard theme and isnt cluttered with items so good for audio/graphical work. Good work!
Synaesthesia
BTW my favourite 3D program is Modo 302, the renderer is just amazing and incredibly fast too...
rubasu
Yes, I know about rendering, but I just couldn't see how that could've taken an hour. There's no bump mapping, normals, it's pretty matte (not that it looks bad, something like this should have a matte finish).Like I said, 1920x1200, all settings up, there are blank planks over the cpu reflecting light ambient occlusionantialiasing at 8x8 tons of settings turned up all the way There is a bump map on the cpu alone reflection on every pin trust me, I know what I am doing also ambient occlusion alone takes alot of time to calculate And thanks to everyone who likes the wallpaper, I am just in the middle of reinstalling my hackintosh and linux file server so there will be no work dont for few days

VooD
Most 3D artist would design and render that in about 10 minutes Nice try, but you really made a mistake with the render settings, that would NEVER take 1 hour to render.

iSkylla
Oh stop arguing, it's pointless. The wallpaper is fine, I'm using it right now. It's pretty simple but the word reflections are nice. I edited out the website ad, because I don't like advertisements on my wallpaper but other than that, nice job.

cfactor07
You know, if he said it took him an hour to do it, then maybe it did. Either way, yay or nay, he did a really good job on it and we should say thank you instead of jumping down his throat on how long it took.
cringemaster
lol @ people arguing about render times. Before I bought my Mini I used to screw around with bryce and renderings would take overnight! Btw, awesome wallpaper, but the website ad ruins it for me. Re-post it without the ad, noones gonna want to take the time and photoshop it out.
