Staphyl Posted March 4, 2006 Share Posted March 4, 2006 I have been messin around with my OS X and decided that i might as well try the cross compatability of my program i made for science fair... Well, i went into Build settings in the program and selected Mac OS X only and then put it in my PC. BAM!!! The program started and works without any problems. Just wanted to let you know. For all of you developers tho REALbasic Pro costs around $300 so it is a price to pay to get software working on OSx86. Lucky for me my uncle has the pro...so he can compile it for me. bluedragon1971 Posted March 18, 2006 Share Posted March 18, 2006 A cheaper (free) way to be sure of OSx86 compatibility would be to do your development in Xcode. I've used a few RealBasic programs on OS X before, and I really think that it isn't the way to go. Every one I've used is slow and just doesn't have that "Mac" look.
