norcalrivercat Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 So today I took my wireless card out just so I could see the exact serial number etc. Airport had been working fine out of box. So I put my card back in and now on both Windows and OSX I can't connect to a wireless network. I checked to make sure my card was working in windows and it said device was fine. Just to make sure I removed the card once again and my windows computer didn't detect anything. So i'm sure my broadcom card is fine. Why can't I connect? In OSX, airport is just stuck in "off". If I click "turn airport on" absolutely nothing happens. In windows no wireless networks are recognized. Any ideas? This seems like more of a computer problem than anything (seeing as windows is affected) but hopefully someone has an idea of what to try. Thanks! P.S. I tried reinstalling driver on my windows machine. Like I said before this card worked out of box so I really am confused as to what is going on.
