EricoDeBergeraque Posted June 3, 2008 Share Posted June 3, 2008 Hi pleople!! Are you tired of renstalling all the OS when trying a sollution to resolve your Blank Screen problem?? I have not find a sollution to the blank screen but I found how to remove the Kext that cause the blank screen !!! The sollution : 1. I create another partition. 2. Install another copy of the MacOS on this now partition. 3. Call the new partition MacText or something clear. 4. When you get a blank screen on your primary OS installation just boot on the Test partition and access to the primary MacOS (The partition wich do the blank screen) and trash the Kext you've just install that now cause the blank screen... 5. Reboot on the primary MacOS partition and you are up and running to try another solution... It work for me!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
chris3g Posted June 3, 2008 Share Posted June 3, 2008 seems like a lot of extra work to just delete a kext, you can just boot safe mode with -x or single user mode with -s, and if neither of those are operable you can boot to the install cd and launch terminal from there.
