vince_1327
Hello Everyone, A friend of mine, a long time mac user, got a custom box built and we've been fighting with the network card for hours now. The board is the Asus P5B-SE, and according to Asus's specifications, the onboard card is the Realtek PCIe Gigabit Lan Controller. It performs flawlessely under XP and Ubuntu, but for some reason not on Mac. We're using the 10.5.2 install DVD w/Sleep Kernel. The Machine is as follows: Intel Core2Quad Q6600 @ 2.4ghz - Overclocked to 3.13 4GB PC-5300 RAM 715GB Harddrive DVD +/- RW Media Card Reader Asus P5B-SE Board Nvidia 8500GT w/512mb Vram Everything else works great...sound, video, usb, etc. It just the network card that's giving us trouble. We're tried OSx86 3rd Party Drivers List, and the Realtek installer with no success. Part of the problem is that the board's manual and Asus's online specifications don't tell us much about the onboard card. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Vince
