I keep getting the following errors with almost every program I try:
wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0xffffffff at address 0x8fe136e4 (thread 000b), starting debugger...
FIXME : get_thread_context_ptrace unimplemented

I'm not really sure why. the bundled wine apps work OK, and the IE6 installer launches, but dies shortly thereafter. Any suggestions?

Did you compile wine on your own? According to the wine source install doc, the Mac isn't supported because of that issue. I think you have to apply some patches to get it to work. I'm not sure on the specifics, I'm new to wine. I haven't gotten much help yet, since it's pretty quiet around here lately, otherwise I could help more.

I'm guessing there's some work going on behind the scenes, so maybe waiting for some news of progress would be your best bet.
