hceuterpe Posted May 31, 2008 Share Posted May 31, 2008 I did a search on this and couldn't find anything, so... I own a nForce4 gigabit chip. It's been used in both Windows and linux. At home I own a jumbo frame gigabit setup (9014 MTU). It actually works quite well in the whole network and I'm not about to stop. Anywho, while linux and Windows both let me set the jumbo frame (actually more like jumbo packets..), the forcedeth driver chokes on anything over 1500. I was looking at the source code of the forcedeth driver and it does in fact look very similar in a typical ported fashion with the linux driver source. Am I missing something here?
