themacmeister
I hate this setup intel g31+1ch7 (this is a ecs g31t-m) 2gb ddr2 800mhz 500gb sata geforce 6800 ultra(evga)pcie pentium d e2180 Anyone have one like this or knows it will work with a release? Let me know -mike I have an Asus mobo (G31/ICH7) and nearly identical specs (identical RAM and SATA). I used iAtkos v4i, which is 10.5.4, and I use the latest ToH/XNUstage 9.4.0 kernel and SMBIOS.kext I have a GeForce 8400GS, which is a known problem card, but a NVCAP code edit in NVinject fixes that. The system runs ROCK SOLID, and everything works except integrated gigabit ethernet, and only stereo sound out with present patch (AppleAzalia). Your graphics card should work perfectly with NVinject. I have only tested on an E7200 Core2Duo, but you should be fine with an E2180. Sleep does not (and never will?) work on my mobos. Restart/Shutdown/Logoff all work perfectly. Fast as F*CK! I am using a no-name RTL 8139D PCI NIC, and it works OOB with no drivers required. I am currently looking for a cheap(ish) USB sound card, that will allow MIC-IN. Then I will use this as my everyday computer.
