I ran a clean install and then deleted ALL THE FILES IN /System/Library/Extensions that began with ATIRa... [/b] I deleted all of them, ran the installer from the first post in this thread, rebooted and CI and QE support.

Thanks for the installer lastexil  I am so happy right now, o you guys have no idea ;> everything is working

Thanks for the tip. I was hoping this would be it, but unfortunately, didn't work for me.

I've now tried the installer on a clean install of Leo4allv3 and Zephyroth Rev 2, and get the same result. Without video drivers, system boots normally. As soon as I install these, I get CI and QE (and an extra 30 points on Xbench) but I get blue screen for 20 mins before it finally completes booting. It's frustrating because adding 20 minutes to the boot time means I can only trouble-shoot / try 2-3 things per hour when looking for a solution! :P

Anyone else have some suggestions to try?

Thanks,

Mobility Radeon HD is not yet supported.

Are there any plans to support the Internal LCD of a Laptop with ATI Mobility Radeon 2400 HD.

Is there anyway to boot with graphics as in safe mode?

On Safe Mode My LCD is Fine, on normal boot it gets garbled or blank

Hi I have the same Shapphire 512MB HD 2600 XT but is AGP (0x95861002) the problem is that Quartz Extreme in not enabled. I have installed the driver in this page, the screen resolution is ok but Quartz Extreme is also Not Supported.

I use Kalaway 10.5.3 with an old version of Darwin..

Any idea? Help please

So I finally gave up on the HD 2400 Pro. I took it back and got an HD 2600 Pro (only had to spend $30 more). Installed it into the motherboard, ran the package on page 2 of this forum (link in my sig) and worked without a problem - not even the white menu problem! I assume that's because I have 10.5.3 instead of v2.

So easy this time, got it first try with EVERYTHING working! Thank you LastExile and netkas!

I think I have a general comment for those who are still new to OSx86 - just because someone else got something working, it might not for you. I've seen that people have been getting HD2400Pro's to work on their systems, but I had no luck after fighting it for a week. You win some, you lose some.

3450 is not the same as 3650 its the same as 2400pro&xt but still having some problems with getting a picture on the screen

First of all thank you very much to lastExile for all the work on the RadeonHD drivers.

Is there any progress regarding the 3450 (0x95c5)?

I'm really itching for a driver as I'm stuck (for various reasons) with this card and can't just purchase something else that already works.

Everything working fine with DVI ... but this card has a built in HDMI as its other output.

When I use the HDMI it gets up to the apple gray screen and then the display goes blank. I would really like to get this working. If theres anything I can help with let me know.

After trying SO many different OS X install dvd's I finally found a solution for my ATI Radeon 2400 HD Pro.

1. Installed kalyway 10.5.2 Leopard, completely clean i.e not adding any graphics support

2. Booted and ran 2400 Package found on this thread (using http://tinyurl.com/4prgm6 )

3. Voila, my 22" screen is running perfectly at 1680x1050x32

:P

THANK YOU SO MUCH

Great work! I got this working but not dual display. :)

There is one DVI connection and one VGA. the DVI connector doesn't work with a VGA adapter but the VGA connection works.

Somebody that managed to get dual display working with this card?

Hello,

ATI 3650 512mb is working under 10.5.2 and 10.5.3 with 2 LCDs great with lastExile drivers.

But what for TWO identical cards and 3 or 4 LCDs? Is there any chance to make it work without setting up EFI GFX strings?

I have same ATI 3650's. Both of them are correctly listed in system profiler, bud working is only one card.

If I set up PCI or PEG option in BIOS, firs card is working. If I set up PEG2, second card is working. So I know everything is on good way.

So what to do now, to make both cards to work seamlessly?

I'm unable to set up EFI strings, I tried almost every possible option from all guides, but with no luck. With EFI GFX strings is working always only one card and only with mirroring displays.

Here is my System profiler with lastExile driver >

Here is my in.plist for EFI GFX strings for ATI 3650HD 512mb > (not properly working - note that first slot "0x1" and second slot "0x1c" are correct)

Still no dice.

My most recent attempt was to try installing 10.5.4 first.

Install Leo4allv3

Install 10.5.4 update via Zephyroth ASU - OK

Install 9.4.0 kernel - OK

reboot - and now see disco screen :(

reboot into safe mode - OK, can see that 10.5.4 and kernel 9.4.0 took

delete ati* from the extensions folder

run installer from Page 1 of this thread, rebuild permissions, and reboot

same sky blue screen for 15 mins before it finally boots :)

Once booted, everything appears to run OK, but it sucks to wait through a 20 minute boot sequence.

So I've tried installing on top of 10.5.2 (Leo4All and Zephyroth), and now 10.5.4. I've tried deleting all ATI kexts.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

I have a 4CoreDual-VSTA and a sapphire hd3650 512 mb ddr3.

I tried the driver but I get a screen white or black.

What can I do?

I tried both kalyway 10.5.2 upgrade to 10.5.3, both iatkos 2.0i, but I get the same result.
