Radeon Mobility HD 2300

Subj. Is there any available? Please note, that HD 2300 IS NOT X2300, they using different GPU's.

Ок, I made QE&CI working on my HD 2300, using ATIRadeonX1000.kext. But there's still no possibility to change resolution, and it damn buggy! Mouse cursor sometimes disappear from screen, and image artifacts present while scrolling, moving windows, etc.

 

If anybody had their HD 2300 working ok?

can you tell me how can you make it work QE&CI. I loaded X1000.kext but it only show panic.....

I today made the last attempt to install a retail 10.5.6 on my Notebook Amilo Pi 2530 with ATI Radeon HD2300. All went fine, all hardware is recognized well (I did replace the weird Intel 3945 WiFi with a Broadcom 4328).

 

After first boot QE and CI are hardware enabled, but resolution is fixed to 1024*768*32. I have glitches too as described above, when I move windows, or a spot does remain at the point, a mouse move started.

 

As I did not install any driver, OS X does use ATIRadeonX1000.kext. The device ID 7210 is in its Info.plist. I think, there is some framebuffer problem.

 

I think, there would be a solution, if the cracks would try to fix this. But I think, this graphic card is exoctic and rare, we better sell our noteboks at ebay and buy a used one, which is supported.
