After days of experimenting on how to enable QE/CI on x1600, I've finally made it working and it's very very easy to do. 1. Login as a super user on terminal type su then enter your password 2. Go to /System/Library/Extensions and delete all ATI files except for the kext below: ATINDRV.kext ATIRNDRV.kext ATIRadeonX1000.kext ATIRadeonX1000GA.plugin ATIRadeonX1000GLDriver.plugin ATIRadeonX1000VADriver.plugin ATITVOUT.kext (i'm still working on this part, hopefully it could get me my TV-OUT working) NOTE: Also remove existing drivers Callisto,Natit,Titan, etc to avoid complications. 3. Then edit ATIRadeonX1000.kext/Contents/Info.plist Look for the <key>IOPCIMatch</key> Insert your DEVID on the <string>0x71C21002</string> (you could try your different DEVID and make sure not to delete the rest of the ID to avoid errors) Then save your Info.plist 4. Then delete /System/Library/Extensions.mkext to reload the caches 5. Restart then voila!!! I attached a screenie. Check it out and enjoy!!! FEEL FREE TO COMMENT!!
