The GTX is based on the older core and for most things is slower than the newer 8800GTS 512M (g92 core). nvidia never updated the GTX to the newer cores. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814143119 this one is not only $120 less, but is faster. i can also confirm that it works in my system. sg Posted May 26, 2008 Share Posted May 26, 2008 as long as you have 10.5.2 and the Leopard Graphics Update installed (using software update), simply installing the proper nvinject or nvkush will work, nothing else needs to be added or removed.
