xion Posted March 1, 2006 Share Posted March 1, 2006 Hi, im wonder if there is a definive ATi Driver for 10.4.5, now i have installed ones made by JaS, and I have no mouse artifacts but VLC doesnt work as it should be. cyclonefr Posted March 2, 2006 Share Posted March 2, 2006 there isnt any definitive drivers other than the one included in OSX ! and there is no drivers that can provide the NO MOUSE TEARING BUG! it's a bug that ask to be correct and maybe ask to rebuild new drivers but for that we need sources, or to find out why the osx doesnt load correctly even on X1600 the resolution control panel I suggest guys to compare the GMA900 kext from 10.4.4 which supports the "hacked" GMA control panel, compare to 10.4.5 that doesnt load the GMA control panel...I think this is an apple protection and can be fix by comparing both kext, and then maybe add it to ATI Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So I've a graphic card issue: I installed v10.4.5 successfull on my Toshiba M70 -166 powered by ATi's x600 but resolution is locked at 1024x768.
