Yes, it boots to the desktop but I have pretty much compatible hardware. If you don't like this, remove '-v' from the kernel flags string in the file: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist I found this @ piratebay So no new thread needed I think . and i set the timer in the file to '1'.
