midlandskatecom Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 I'm pretty sure I saw the device ID for this card whenever looking at the devID's that come in Leo4AllV3. Has anyone had success using the 8500GT with leopard? How does it perform? I want to go from my 256mb 7300GT to the 512mb 8500GT. I got the 8500 for free. centaur Posted May 22, 2008 Share Posted May 22, 2008 I have a XFX 8500GT 512MB, and it works just fine with Leo4All and Kalyway. I needed to change the NVCAP string to get signal sent to the DVI port instead of VGA, but it worked flawlessly after a reboot. My solution is here.
