rmriggin Posted February 28, 2006 Share Posted February 28, 2006 I have a HP zd8000 laptop with 10.4.4 2.8Ghz SSE3 HT 1GB ram ATI x600 128MB PCI-e I have been trying for the life of me to get my ATI.kext to load so I can have QE and CI enabled. The kext will not load at boot and will not allow me to load manually after boot. wehn I load it manually with debug message I get this: kextload -t /System/Library/Extensions/Ati.kext kextload: extension /System/Library/Extensions/Ati.kext appears to be valid kextload: notice: extension /System/Library/Extensions/Ati.kext has debug properties set 14ATIAccelerator is not compatible with its superclass, 13IOAccelerator superclass changed? kextload: a link/load error occured for kernel extension /System/Library/Extensions/Ati.kext load failed for extension /System/Library/Extensions/Ati.kext (run kextload with -t for diagnostic output) Any help?
