Oxtie
Is there any way where I can enable QE and Resolutions??? This is so disgusting it would be little ODD! Here is my device id PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00C1&SUBSYS_024510DE&REV_A2\4&390FD548&0&0008 which is already inserted in those two file...NVDAResman.kext & NVDANV40Hal.kext. (maybe in a wrong way) Thanks in advance... The good thing is that my Ethernet works PERFECT so, I can still communicate with you all within the OS
tomauty
Use natit if you aren't already. That is actually way too much to be the device ID. What you want to put in is: 0x00C110de. Basically you want the dev ID + the vendor ID which ends up being that. You then put that devID into NVDAResman.kext, NVDANV40Hal.kext, GeForce.kext and Natit.kext. Repair permissions delete extensions.mkext etc and you should be fine.
Homem Bomba
Use kext helper to repair file permissions, or do the chmod/chown root thing. I used to have a 6800 pci-e (0x00c1) and I can assure you it works. I used Nvidia installer 0.41 and inserted the strings manually like you.
