I've found a "working" but UNSTABLE solution for OS Leo 10.5.5, using 10.5 BETA i386 build There is a callisto patch for Acer 5020 LCD Panel dotclock bundled into. I hope some one can help to make it "stable" PS: may be you need to boot with "-s" and manually load the kext using: kextload -t ATIRadeon9700.kext Info: 10.5.5 Turion 64 ml34 using speedstepkernel from kabyl X700 128MB 0x1002 0x5653 with fixed dotclock on callisto download link: Download 10.5 beta patched ATIRadeon9700 for X700 Thank you I use your posted kext for my mobility x700 now I can change resolution but cannot play video do you know how to solve that??? Installed the fresh ' iAtkos v7 ' and the old Callisto kexts but no luck with QE !? did the ' x600 ' , ' ID 3150 ' work with QE or not ??? Toshiba M40X-129 ! creative4art Posted May 28, 2010 Share Posted May 28, 2010 I am trying to get ATI x700 work for my Asus A7V series running on 10.5.7 but the screen flickers when i change to higher resolution (I know this is a common question here and I am embarassed to ask it again, but I have searched all over)... I think my problem is the Callisto patches are for dotclock 6XXXX (Forgot the exact number) but during boot up, Callisto detects my Monitor to have Dotclock 96300... How can I edit a custom clock value so that this works? I tried looking up address 0x490E with Hex Editor, but no luck. I cannot find that address. Can someone please help? No Giorgio non è che nn mi fido....e che sto cercando qualche soluzione se possibile.....ho visto la guida di Flash.....ho letto che qualcuno è riuscito ad attivarli.....ma nulla di concreto!
