f0rge Posted May 1, 2008 Share Posted May 1, 2008 i should preface this by saying i'm a total OSX n00b. i just installed kalyway 10.5.1 on my IBM T42, so far everything is working great except my wireless card. i have a mini-pci atheros AR5004X, which is also a AR5213A (or so i'm told) in OSX, there is no airport listed at all, so i obviously have a problem. are there drivers or kext files that i could use/install to help me make this work? or alternatively, is there a card that "just works" right after install that i could go pick up and avoid this whole hassle altogether? BigPimpin Posted May 1, 2008 Share Posted May 1, 2008 I think you're out of luck with that Atheros card. There are surprisingly few wireless cards that actually work. It's a miniPCI card, right?
