The first release of parallels server beta 3 said that this version still not autorized the mac OS X server virtualizing, but now, there is a new build of the beta server 4 (build 1990) that allow to virtualize mac os x server .

New! Supports virtualizing Mac OS X Leopard Server in a virtual machine running on a Mac OS X Leopard Server platform.

NOTE:

Support for Mac OS X in VM environment is now available!

According some people, it seems to work fine, but don't hurry up on your keyboard, there's still a bad news :) , as we already knew, it's only on apple hardware, but it's also only on mac os x server's host, so you can't virtualize mac os x server on a mac os x client's host :)

I'm really disappointed because i really need mac osx server on my macbook pro :(

I'm sure there is a way to get ride of this, may be like we do when we change user agent of a web browser for example

Any ideas ??

No i don't want running server as a host for a macbook pro. A laptop is by definition a client machine, the only way for me to install server operating system is to virtualize them (2003 server , linux, etc ..).

I'll take a look about changing the about mac config file :P

2003 and 2008 on my Macbook must have been a dream then.... x86 code is x86 code, regardless of what it says on the tin!
