fffizzz Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 I used the package from this page -> http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=83931 and setup and installed version 41. Everything installed fine, but when I reboot, I get the "You must restart you computer" messages, and when I use -v, I see a kernel panic on NVd30 or something. When I boot with -x, it works fine, however I have no sound since I'm in safemode. There is an option for a different kernel at the bottom of the install options, but it makes me nervous since im new to this and it took me a week+ just to get OSX installed and working properly on my hardware. Any suggestions would be mint as im still learning. Using a eVGA Geforce 8800 GTS on a ASUS M2N-E (Nforce Chipset motherboard), full specs in sig.
