slewis1972
Hi Newbie to mac and I have installed Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd on a HP dc6700. It has a integrated Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet for HP with a Intel Pro 1000 MT Gigabit NIC. Can anyone help with getting it to be recognised. slewis1972
The link lights are on at the rear. The NIC is built into the mlb. I go into Network - and no device listed. Any ideas? Scott

kk249
ok, I have got something, I remembered when I installed the Kalyway 10.5.1 I have this Pro1000 MT worked, so I installed the Kalyway 10.5.1 again on the other partition, still get the lan worked, I copied the Intel8254x.kext from the 10.5.1 and replaced it on the 10.5.2, repaired the disk permission and rebooted, the Network says it is "connected", then on the System Preferences>Network>Advanced>Ethernet tab, change Configures to Manually and change the speed to 10baseT, work perfect now!
