BigPimpin
Thanks for the offer, BuildSmart, but I'm starting to have my doubts on whether or not it's worth it. The IPN2220 is an obsolete chip and the manufacturer, Inprocomm, went out of business a few years ago. Needless to say, Edimax - the primary user of the chip - quickly moved on to Realtek and RaLink chipsets. Nobody sells routers anymore with the IPN2220. I was wrong when I said these chips were readily available and cheap. Ever since I got the code I've scoured ebay every day, both their US and international sites, for old routers and PCI cards that have this chip on it so I would have a few backups in case I fry the ones I have. There are almost none available anywhere. I don't think there are too many people who will ever need an OSX driver for this chip. I don't think there are too many people who will need ANY driver for this chip anymore. Thanks anyway, I appreciate the offer of help. I think the BCM4306 and 4318 are going to be my replacement chips of choice in the near future.

Sergio Aguayo
Hello I would like to know if someone could share this file with me. I'm the developer of the AMiLDA Linux distribution, which uses the IPN2220 chipset on some router models it supports. Right now i'm unable to support that chipset because i don't have a driver. Thanks in advance, Sergio Aguayo
xiao99xiao
I'd like to share it with you if I've got one.But I don't have one account either. go to http://en.pudn.com/ (the english version of that site),maybe you'll find some more help. The simplest way is to resgister a VIP account.Yet the charge is somewhat expensive...no idea... Would this code be applicable to WIFI cards as well? I have an Acer Aspire with an acer IPN2220 wifi card and would love to have that work under OS X... and I can imagine there are more that try to get their Acers to work.
