level42 Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 I can't seem to get the HDA working for my motherboard. According to intel.com, I'm required the 9227 codec. Audio Intel® High Definition Audio subsystem in one of the following configurations: 8-channel (7.1) audio subsystem with five analog audio outputs and two S/PDIF digital audio outputs (coaxial and optical) using the Sigmatel* 9274D audio codec 6-channel (5.1) audio subsystem with three analog audio outputs using the Sigmatel 9227 audio codec I've tried HDA audio patcher and even downloaded the proper codec, STAC9271D_0x83847627_testing.zip ( 380.57K ) Number of downloads: 3460STAC9227_0x83847618Installer.zip ( 460.06K ) Number of downloads: 2024 and this codec STAC9227_83847618.txt 06-Feb-2007 10:30 5k None of them are working, can anyone help me with some suggestions please ? guilliamo Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 Take a look at <http://wiki.taruga.net/tiki-index.php>. I'm using the "prepatched kext" listed for Dells on my Intel DQ965GF w/STAC9227.
