for some reason no wmv streaming video will play in my internet explorer 7 browser ? all it does is download the video and open up the external windows media player 11. i want to be able to view videos from within the browser, not an external player. how can i fix this ? ive looked all over the net and it seems to be a big problem with vista and ie7. i also haven't found any concrete answers.

I would try opening Windows Media Player 11 Options or Preferences, and make sure a checkbox that says something like "Play media in browser" is checked.

If that doesn't work, make sure you have the latest version and patches for Windows Media Player.

Try using Mozilla Firefox, it tends to work better than Internet Explorer
