I am just curious to see if anybody here has Verizon FiOS. I just got it yesterday. I love how I can download my *stuff* faster, and web browsing dosen't go slower. The TV is awsome too. if you don't know what FiOS is, it is Fiber Optic TV, Internet, and Phone. You can get up to 50/20mb bandwith. So, does anyone here use it?

I saw it on the Xbox 360 marketplace and I was like DAMN, I thought 6mb down /1mb up was speedy enough.

I wish. There aren't fiber optic installations in the metro Denver area. Do you like the speed? Is it Really Fast?

Yes the speed is awesome. Before I was downloading stuff, and web surfing was slow. Now I get even faster download speeds, like in the 500Kbits/s and no slowdown in browsing. I like the router you get with it too!

But I did just upgrade to Embarq's fastest DSL service (which believe it or not lowered my bill by $5).

It is 10 Mbps Down / 896 Kbps Up. I love it, before I had 5 Mbps Down / 696 Up and my downloads maxed out at around 600 Kbps. Now with the 10 Down, my downloads max out at about 900 Kbps (about 750 Kbps with no internet browsing slow down).

So I am happy for know...
