That desktop looks awesome. How did you get the dots to show instead of the stars in Synergy?

Yep, its overflow.
....all the apps from the same family (or producer) are on it...it really saves space on the docs for the random apps that one tends to use. And on top of all these...I have Quicksilver to cover me from anywhere on the HD. lol. Style 1: With boxes around icons

It's kind of like that thing you get in Leopard then (stacks?). Pretty cool, but Quicksilver surpasses every app launcher I have ever tried.

its pretty nice.. 1680x1050 on an acer al2216w - 22" widescreen driven by a 7300 gt (bfg - i cooked my asus.. and by cooked i mean broke it..)
Dual screen with Natit 0.1 is working excellently - just about to try the 10.4.10 upgrade - crosses fingers

It's called geektool -- it lets you show live bits of log files or output from commands, etc on the desktop, much like root-tail for linux / bsd

get the latest version of parallels and it allows you to install almost anything, they've improved it alot and added directX support as well. gaming still sucks a lil tho.
