This is my dual dualcore opteron system running 10.4.8. It says 10.4.9 but that's only chancged in the sytemversion.plist file to trick the current version of iTunes into running. I'm still trying to get cs3 to actually run, but at least my nvidia 6800tc is working with QE and my motorola v3xx works correctly as a high speed modem, and I got sound. once I get cs3 running I'll be in business
