nice on, that a real mac or a hackintosh. ? if hack, how did you customize the dock is there a universal dock prog i missed.? or you edit the resources.?

It's A-Dock, been using it since Mac OS 8.5. I hate the apple dock, so I use this one instead. I like that I can click bottom of screen so it can show/hide as needed.

Here is my desktop box. My laptop looks +/- the same, except I run more software on it, as it is faster and has SSE3. This is more like my internet/music and IM box. The wallpaper was found somewhere on kde-look.org

That's quite a nice application there! The only thing I don't like about it - it's not free! sad.gif

Oh, and AcePlayer, I think we get the message now. People may not want to upload the wallpaper for their own personal reasons. Someone can easily PM the other person if they want their wallpaper wink.gif

This is a hackintosh vaio. I thought was pretty clever by labeling my Mac partition VAI OS X, but then discovered there's a guy on the forums named VaiOSX. =(

Maybe Apple's right to fear running OS X on non-Macs, because it definitely makes me more hesitant to get one. I don't have the cash for it right now anyway.

You can get a decent vaio from £700. To get a MacBook Pro you’ll need a bit more than that.

Also not everyone is mad about macs. Some like me prefer windows because that’s what we’re used to. So it’s safer to get a vaio and add OSX to it to get used to it than but a MacBook Pro and realise you don’t like it. offtopic.gif

Hi there. Just thought I would show off my desktop. No radical wallpaper, icons or the lot but what I have to show is amazing. I am running an MSI X1600 PCI-E video card on my unit and I have full ability to change resolutions, refresh rates, full QE/Ci, and no mouse tearing.

10.4.6 (based on myzar's patch for 10.4.4 restore dvd and JaS's 10.4.6 update
ASRock 775 Dual 915GL mobo
1 gig DDR ram
MSI RX1600 PRO-TD 256E PCI-E 256mb video card
Maxtor 200gb sata drive
Starlogic 19" CRT

Here is my desktop. I have one question. I see in everyones screenshots that (the people not running mac) have objectbar. But when I install it I can get those nice looking fonts. How do I do this?

Isnt this comment technically an oxymoron? Being that windows now runs on a mac and everything and i can almost guarantee that you will not get similar specs in a vaio for the price of a macbook pro

I manually changed the resources in Extra.rsrc and used Extra2Extra to convert it too Extra2.rsrc.
