Greetings,
What application gets you to this point in order to edit the information? I am planning on buying a Sager NP2096 and I want to be sure I can allow it to boot properly. That's really my only concern, because I have cross referenced most of the components, and it all looks good. The only problem with most PM45 chipsets is the inability to boot both cores. I know that with this mod, it will be possible to even get a boot132 retail install in the laptop I am interested in. I have been to OMN's site, but the DMICFG doesn't work with my current VAIO laptop. Also, I am not sure core fixing is possible with that utility.
Any information on which program or utility to use for DSDT and core fixing, would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
