I get these popups from the OS firewall whenever I open certain apps that need to accept incoming connections. The problem is I keep hitting accept, but each time I load them up they ask me for permission again... Isn't there a way to trust them?

That sounds like Little Snitch to me. See if you have it installed...

oh thanks, i'd just like to know if theres a way to keep the firewall on without all the hassles of clicking ALLOW everytime i want to allow the same application smile.gif

thanks a lot!
Proteo
I know it makes no sense (shame on you Apple!) but actually there is no way to have precise control over the new Firewall, and personally, I haven't been able to do what your'e looking for. Option 2 (Set access for specific...) should take care of it, but it don't remember your choices so you are bugged with the same questions again every session.

Hopefully 10.5.2 will bring some improvement!
SysopGrace
yeah... i'm using SET ACCESS FOR SPECIC right now actually lol

thanks anyways, i'm already looking forward to 10.5.2
The iMan
10.5.2 fixed it 4 me
SysopGrace

SysopGrace
