Search harder, Conexant is working with AppleHDA driver...

Most conexant cards work with applehda/azalia, but the Hermosa only gets speakers with that driver. UNTIL NOW!


14f1 5045 working kexts! No idea why this was so hard to find, but dammit I'm linking to it everywhere so it starts getting higher in search rankings!

Attached the ones that I'm using. delete appleazaliaaudio.kext, install these guys and voila! The only thing that doesn't work is line-in microphone, but the built in works fine. On that thread there's an alternate that has line-in working but not the internal.

You should try VoodooHDA kext.
Using this,i was able to get headphones and microphone working.
I have Conexant High Definition Audio(Venice Core)
