Hi! i installed leopard and everything work fine! except for my network cad that its not supported, so i grab this ENCORE branded USB dongle and it worked! i was online like 2 hours i even download photoshop and parallels... but sudenly stoped working and i cant get it to work again.

Please! i have spontanous internet how can i fix that
I am not too sure if this will will fix it but try deleting the usb/ethernet option from NetworkInterfaces.plist, reboot and plug in your usb after leopard loaded up.
1. go to /Library/Preferences/SystemConguration/
2. drag/copy NetworkInterfaces.plist to desktop (so permission will defaulted to read/write for admin)
3. Double click on NetworkInterfaces.plist on desktop
4. Delete the bit where your usb/ethernet info is (from <dict> to </dict>)
5. Close TextEdit. Save.
6. Copy it back to /Library/Preferences/SystemConguration/
7. You will need to authenticate, put your p/w and replace
8. Reboot (make sure your USB WIFI is not plugged in)
9. After Leopard loaded up, plug the USB in and pray to your god or any other that you think might help.

any other sugestion ? i got the card drivers but they only have for tiger can anyone recomend me a usb dongle that works gr8? cheap? tx alot.

d-link dwl-g122 is working fine for me using modified ralink drivers - and theres also a few other brand wifi adapters in that thread which contain the ralink chipset which work with the driver too). i think basically any usb wifi you get, make sure it has a ralink chipset in it and it should work quite easily. shows up as ethernet 2 in network preferences pane. DHCP doesn't seem to work, need to set up IP subnet gateway etc manually.
you do have to make sure you get the right revision - mine is rev C1, firmware 3.00

maybe im doing something wrong. how do i set my ip and subnet ? that might work. tx alothow can i know if my dongle has the ralink chipset
