i have mac os x 10.4.7 (jas version) installed but cant get final cut pro to load it just crashes
all i wan do is have final cut on it so
what do i need and what do i do! i dont mind installing a different 'hack' verison of mac os x
please help

delete qmaster.framework from /Library/Frameworks

You should also really consider upgrading to at least 10.4.8. It's got way less compatibility issues, eg. CS3 needs 10.4.8. If you're on Intel SSE3, it's very easy if you use egwan's update patch.
Otherwise I recommend installing uphuck 1.4i, it's a fantastic distro.

ok my pc only supports sse2 so i need this uphuck thin yeah? and 10.4.8 and delete frame work and it should work yeah?oh yeah btw its final cut 5.0

qe/ci are enabled?
if not final cut won;t start
it needs at least open gl and without qe no opengl

when i look in the crash report, it says kern_ghjdfuth (or something like that) failed

New Fix has been found..........
I tried deleting qmaster.frmaeworks and final cut ran fine but i lost compessor.
So the fix for this is actually the ethernet.
go into your library/preferences/systemconfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist
edit that file with text edit you have to make your ethernet en0 rather then it being en1 you can delete en0 completely this is what i have on mine I have UD3R Gigabyte built in lan.
Now FCP Compressor and internet work Whoo Hooo!!!!
