Hi, I´m new around here, but really interested in give mac os a shot.

Well I managed to install Jas 10.4.7 repack on my laptop (on vmware), but after a perfect install the hdd boots up but the OSX never comes on, it keeps giving me the message that you can see in the attached screen, can anyone help me with it?

Spec:
Laptop HP nx6120
CPU Pentium mobile 1.8Mhz
Centrino chipset, 915 video
on vmware 6.0.1
8Gb virtual disk
512Mb virtual memory
Host OS: Vista

Before this, like a week ago, I tried to install Jas 10.4.8 but never could manage to make a complete install with it.

Thanks.

P.D. I used PCwiz guide to install

Did you follow ALL of the instructions in the guide EXACTLY? And what happened when you used JaS 10.4.8?

This exact same thing happened to me in vmware, turns out I select AMD processor instruction rather than the intel ones:.

BTW; Your specs looks like you could have good compatability with a native install of JaS 10.4.8 and dual boot with your vista:.

Very true. russianv, you should try a native install. Its a LOT faster than VMware.
