My friend recently purchased an iPod Touch. Awesome device.. anyways, it will not connect to our schools wireless network at all. Not sure why.. usually we have our school ID and password we put in to log on, but it just says its locked completely.. When I first used wireless here i had to download something to my desktop to run it, but I can't do that with this iPod.. anyone have a suggestion?...

What you need is a VPN client, something the iPod Touch doesn't have yet (even thought the iPhone does). There's been a lot of complaint over this, I bet Apple will release an update to fix this issue soon. Or since the iPhone and Touch run basically the same software, someone will port it over.

Indeed, hadn't realized it had been released already. Should be careful if you do that though, wouldn't want another update from Apple to brick your iPod like they did with the iPhone.

Where can I get the VPN client after jailbreaking my ipod?
It's jailbroken. I just don't know where to get it. I didn't see it under Installer.app
