I was thinking about making a portable OS9 on usb stick (based on sheepshaver)
So, no matter the OS, i can go on every pc/mac and have my personal os9 on my usb drive.

So, i took the ROM from my beige G3 350mhz and i installed mac os 9.0.4
It works really fast.
But i can't set an internet connection sad.gif
I'd like to set a "Basilisk II Router" or "slirp" connection, without installing the ethernet drivers.

On basilisk II, OS8 for 68k goes flawlessly on net (setted as "router")

But on sheepshaver i get this:
-router mode: no access; DNS error
-slirp mode: access, but sheepshaver crashes when the page is displayed sad.gif
What i can do?

Ok, i found a workaround about the Sheepshaver crash when accessing the internet.
The reason is: Microsoft Internet Explorer for Mac

Just use any other browser (I suggest iCab) and it works flawlessly biggrin.gif

This seems pretty cool - where would i be able to find your portable OS9

Yeah, zip it up and post up a torrent or if its small enough put it on Mediafire or something
